Zachary Caleb Nelson, age 30, of Bonham, TX, passed away suddenly on November 30, 2023.

Zachary was born on April 2, 1993 in Bedford, TX to Kevin and Dara (Clarkson) Nelson. He attended LeTourneau University and studied finance. He married Lacy Cary on May 30, 2015. Zachary was employed in the construction industry with Gallagher Construction Services as a superintendent. Zachary was a kind, loving husband and a wonderful father. He was a devoted son and brother. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Zachary is survived by his wife, Lacy Nelson, of Bonham, TX, his son; John-David Caleb Nelson, and his daughter, Sarah Nichole Nelson. His parents Kevin and Dara Nelson of Sherman, grandparents; Bob and Kaye Nelson of Cartwright, OK, Dan and Sandra Clarkson of North Richland Hills, his brothers; Jacob Nelson (Olivia), Isaac Nelson, Timothy Nelson, Christian Nelson, Michael Nelson, Danny Nelson, Bobby Nelson; his sisters; Malerie Scheidegger (Luivan), Maddison Souza (Marcos), Mackenzie Nelson, Mackayla Nelson, Molly-Grace Nelson, McKenna Nelson, Marianne Nelson, Melinda Nelson, and many nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.

Services will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, 1:00 PM at Grace Bible Church, Sherman, TX with Dr. George Cline officiating. A short graveside service will follow at Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro, TX. Family and friends visitation will be Tuesday evening 6-8pm at American Funeral Service.
