Funeral Services for ​William Troy Morris ​, age ​85​, of ​Lake Kiowa, Texas​ will be held ​January 10, 2026, at noon​ at ​New Rest Haven Cemetery 3353 FM 372 North Grand Ave, Gainesville Texas, 76240,​ under the direction of American Funeral Service. Burial will follow at ​New Rest Haven Cemetery​.

​​William Morris​ was born ​August 17, 1940​ to Earl and Madeline Morris an​d William Morris ​ He passed away ​Tuesday, December 16, 2025​.

William (Bill) loved to play golf and enjoyed the quiet evenings at the lake on his porch with his puppies.

He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Madeline Morris, Martyna Morris (Wife), Earline Morris (Sister), Nancy Finigan (Sister), and Pauline Shamblin (Aunt).

He​ is survived by ​two sons Ronald Morris and wife Theresa, David Morris and wife Rhonda, 1 daughter Sharon Renee Morris, 1 stepdaughter Tina Cash. 6 grandchildren, Dalton Dinn, Danielle Jones, Sarah Morris, David Morris Jr, Andrew Morris, Hunter Paulsen, Wyatt Paulsen, Jacob McCord. 2 Great grand-children Lucas Morris, Kayden Allen. ​
