Weldon Terrell Bell, our brother and friend, passed away at his home in Denison, TX on 28 Jan 2025.  Terrell was born in Durant, OK on 11 Aug 1957, and is the first son of C. B. and Claudie Mae Stallings Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dr Bruce Bell.  He is survived by siblings JoEllen & Ron Blissit, Dana Haggard, Ray Bell, Garry & Aleah Bell, Joann & Bob Rogers and several nieces and nephews.

Terrell graduated from Madill High School and attended college in Durant, OK.  After graduating with a BS in accounting he made Denison, TX his permanent home, and bowling his favorite hobby.  His bowling league was extremely successful and won a very special tournament which awarded each league member a new Trans Am.  He drove that car until it just couldn't go another mile, but his memory of those days never faded.

Terrell had a career that he cherished at Driggs Pawn and Liquor (later Driggs Liquor).  Mrs. Driggs created a work family and customer family that made Terrell a fixture in the store.   Terrell leaves a work legacy of honesty and dependability, along with his tinted glasses and cowboy hat.

Memorial services are at 2 o'clock on 15 February at Gordon's Funeral Home at 221 N 3rd Ave in Durant, OK.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to your favorite charity.
