Waynona Faye Summers

Funeral Services for Waynona "Noni" Summers, age 85, of Whitewright, TX will be held Monday, August 11th at 10 am at A Christian Fellowship, 150 Fellowship Lane, Sherman TX. Burial will follow at Cedarlawn Cemetery, 5805 Texoma Pkwy, Sherman TX.  Noni passed away Monday, August 4, 2025.

Noni was born on August 11,1939, the daughter of Edward Jackson Lewis and Mary Rebecca Lewis. Noni was known for her personal walk with the Lord. She loved to sing the timeless beauty of hymns with her family. She found peace in the slow rhythm of oil on a canvas and found purpose in caring for her family. She was always found in her kitchen on holidays making everyone's favorite pies from scratch.

Noni is preceded in death by her husband Phil Summers, parents Edward Lewis and Mary Lewis; brother Claude Lewis, and daughter Pamela Patrick.

Noni is survived by Sisters Jackie Weishman, Jo Monzel, and Bobbie Vick, and brother Jimmy Lewis. Sons Sean Summers, Mark Patrick, and Thomas Patrick. Daughters Kelly Patrick and Shannon Summers. Grandchildren Emily Smith, Ethan Summers, Sean Summers Jr, Kayla Lawrence, Mary Lawrence, LJ Jones, Michael Cox, Mercadis Grantland, Stephanie Grantland, Damon Patrick, Craig Wood, Thomas Patrick Jr, Trey Spencer, Cydney Wood and 14 great grandkids, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at American Funeral Services, 4312 W. Crawford, August 10, 2025 from 2-4 pm.
