Vickie Diane Mauldin (1954-2025)

Vickie Diane Mauldin, age 70, of (Durant, OK.), beloved mother of two children, passed away peacefully on October 22, 2025, in Sherman, Texas.

Vickie leaves a void her family and friends can never fill.

Vickie was born in Miami, Arizona on December 18, 1954, to Elmer and LaVerne Thomas.
Vickie was a loving and devoted mother to her daughters Stephanie and Traci.
But her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She always said the birth of her grandchildren changed her life forever.
The kids felt it in the love and support she always provided.
Vickie took special joy in being a caregiver and had fond memories of the time she spent caring for the Shipp and Wray families.

Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Leroy Mauldin; parents Elmer and LaVerne Thomas; sister Fran Barnes, brother-in-Law Jack Barnes, and Nephew Mike Brown.

Vickie  is survived by her daughter Stephanie Tompkins and her husband Brian; daughter Traci Truly and her husband Nick; special friend Clifford Watson; sister Brenda Patton; brother Royce 'Buddy' Thomas and wife Peggy; Grandchildren Ashley Monk and husband Richard; Brittany Bryant and husband Chase, Garrett Schafer, Jaden Schafer and fiancé Kellee Williams, Dylan Tompkins, Alex Tompkins; Great Grandchildren Draxxin Snow; Whitley, Maverick, and Carter Monk; nephews Mark Slay and Tracy, Jordan Bigham, Todd Thomas and Tiffany, Bo Thomas and Mariah, Cody Thomas and Terra; nieces Nikki Patton and Kyle, Cindy Hubert, Susan Lee, Roberta Brown, Heather Thomas, along with numerous great nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear and beloved friends who will never forget the love, joy and laughter she brought to their lives.

A celebration of Vickie's life will be held on November 22, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Cornerstone Chapel,501 NE 4th St. Durant, OK.
