Timmy Dale
Northern
Nov 15, 1953 — Apr 17, 2024
Bells
Timmy Dale Northern, 70, of Bells, Texas passed away at his home on April 17, 2024. Timmy was born to Cecil and Lila Mae Northern on November 15, 1953, in Bonham, Texas.
He is survived by his wife Sherry, and his two children, Christy Rhone of Leonard, Texas and Casey Northern of Bells, Texas; two granddaughters, Abbey Wright of Mckinney, Texas and Kasey Thomas of Los Angeles, California and great grandson William Wright of Mckinney, Texas. He is also survived by his sister Brenda Mize of Denison, Texas and brother Geary Northern of Bells, Texas.
Timmy is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lila Mae, and sisters Penny Northern and Patricia Graham, as well as his beloved dog Sophie.
Timmy enjoyed the outdoors, and could often be found working in his yard, tinkering with tractors or sitting on his back porch. He especially loved trips to Hot Springs, Arkansas, pine trees, finding a good "junk pile", and fishing with his son. He was good at working with his hands and there was NOTHING he couldn't make or fix. He was also a big kid with a big heart and adored his granddaughters and his great grandson.
The day before he left us he said he was leaving soon to go fishing and he was going to catch the biggest fish. He is finally at peace and hopefully catching all the fish he can handle. He will be greatly missed, but will live on in our hearts forever.
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sunshine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hands.
A very special heartfelt thank you to his nurses and nurse aids from Hospice Plus. They were truly amazing and made his last days as comfortable as possible.
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
