Tim Blount December 5, 1959 – July 16, 2026

Tim Blount, 66, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2026. He was born on December 5, 1959, in Sherman, Texas, where he spent most of his life. Tim graduated from Sherman High School in 1978 and was employed for many years with various Ross Perot companies.

Tim will be remembered for his kind heart and love for his family. His greatest joys were his daughter, Amber Reeves, and his grandson, Perry Easterling. He also adored his dog, Boo, who was his constant companion.

Tim loved spending time fishing, especially on Lake Texoma. He was also a lifelong and devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, faithfully supporting his team through every season.

Tim had a compassionate heart and loved to give to others. He was known to provide sandwiches and blankets to members of the homeless community.

Tim is survived by his mother, Peggy Harmon; his stepfather, Jackie Harmon; his sister, Pam Savage; his daughter, Amber Reeves; his grandson, Perry Easterling; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Blount; his brother, Jeff Blount; and his grandparents, Howard and Cassie Blount, and Roy and Olene Carney.

In accordance with Tim's wishes, a private celebration of his life for immediate family will be held on August 2, 2026.

Though Tim's presence will be deeply missed, his kindness, generosity, and love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
