Teresa Johnson Dansby was born February 24, 1958 in Durant, Oklahoma.  She passed away on April 7, 2026 at her home in Sherman, Texas.

She was born to Harold and Faye Johnson and was the second oldest of her three siblings.  She was raised and schooled in Sherman, Texas.  Teresa had a 28 year career employed by General Telephone/Verizon.

She is survived by husband Brad Dansby, son Thomas Hanley and mother Faye, Johnson.

She was preceded in death by her father Harold Johnson, her sisters; Kathryn Johnson, Lindsey, Angie Johnson Campbell and Sharon Johnson Ghadiry.

Teresa was an active loving family member, friend and neighbor who loved animals and the outdoors.

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, April 16 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at Greater Life Church, 933 W. Lamar, Sherman, Texas 75090.
