Stephen "Bubba" Lynn Green JR, age 37, of Sherman, Texas, passed away in Denison, TX on Friday, March 10, 2023.  Stephen was born on July 31, 1985 in McKinney, TX to Stephen Lynn Green SR & Glenda (Green) Dowden.  By trade he was a welder.  He was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew and uncle.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Bubba was raised in the outdoors.  It was where he called home.  His spirit belonged to the trees, to the lakes, and the hiking trails.  God gave him to us for a while.  We had to give him back early, and for that our hearts will mourn.  God called him home to an even better place.  His smile, his laugh, his humor will be missed. We find comfort in knowing he is at peace with our Lord.

Left to cherish his memory is his father; Stephen Green SR of Sherman, TX, his mother; Glenda Dowden of Whitewright, TX, his grandmothers; Margarette Thomas of Savoy, TX and Alice White of Sherman, TX, his sister; Brandy Green & Dustin Leakey of Howe, TX, his aunts and uncles; Brian & Cindy Roder, Bruce Green, Annette Dunkle, Ronnie & Linda Green, Robert & Janet Gilcrease, Susan White, Summer Gilcrease, Mohammed & Gina Abo-Mahmood. Too many cousins to count. His four nephews; Hunter Coker, Eli Stoner, Clay White, Evan Leakey, his niece; Paisley Leakey, other extended family and many friends.

A family and friends visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, 6 – 8 p.m. at American Funeral Service, 4312 W. Crawford, Denison. TX.
