Sonia Georgina Spaugh, age 76, of Denison, TX passed away peacefully, with her family near, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX on Thursday, June 1, 2023.  Sonia was born on October 28, 1946 in South Shields England to George Scott & Olga Scott. She was a High School graduate. She was formerly employed in defense for the military.  She married Harold "Hal" Spaugh.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Harold Spaugh of Denison, TX, her two children; Michael Spaugh & Jody of Denison, TX and Dale Spaugh of Denison, TX, her four grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, other extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; George & Olga Scott and her brother; Alfred Scott.

Funeral service will be Sunday, June 4, 2023, 3:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, TX, with Richard Gage officiating.  Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX, with the date to be announced.  Family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the service, 2 – 3 p.m.
