Sheri Gilliam Tussing, age 73, of McKinney, Texas, passed away peacefully at Baylor Scott White in McKinney, TX on Thursday, March 09, 2023.  Sheri was born on May 15, 1949 in Denison, TX to Leon Brigman and Imogene Henderson.  Later in life she was adopted by Jamie Gilliam.  She was a Denison High School graduate and also attended college.  She married Ford "Duff" Tussing.  She retired from Grayson County College after many years of clerical work.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  She will be missed by all her loved ones.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Ford "Duff" Tussing of McKinney, TX, her children; Deen Slagle & Joanie of Greenville, TX, Tiffany Lambert & Bobby of Dallas, TX, Todd McConnell & Amy of Denison, TX, Holli Riley & Garrett of McKinney, TX, Lindsey Jones & Terry of Denison, TX,  Meredith Carlisle of McKinney, TX, her sisters; Debra Doty & J.C. of Denison, TX, Gina Alexander & Don of Denison, TX, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Imogene and Jamie Gilliam and her daughter; Gia Slagle Osbourn.

Funeral service will be Sunday, March 12, 2023, 5:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, TX with Larry Myers officiating.  Interment will be at Cedarlawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Justin Slagle, Joshua Slagle, Christian Slagle, Zechariah Williams, Ryan Lee Marcus and Blake Osbourn.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation to the Larry Myers Mexico Ministries.
