Scott Ray Wright, 75, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2024, at Carrus Health in Sherman, Texas.

Mr. Wright was born on Jan. 23, 1949, in McKinney, the son of Jake and Mollie Wright. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force as an E5 Staff SGT. He also worked for Texas Instruments for over 43 years.

Scott loved the outdoors, such as landscaping, gardening, camping, doing crossword puzzles, and spending time with his grandkids.

His son survives him, Shawn Wright of Tom Bean; daughter, Jennifer Arterburn of Pottsboro; daughter, Traci Wright of Sherman; brother, Ben and wife Bert of Mckinney; and sister, Barbara Swaner of Gainesville. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren; Austin, Robert, Blake, Avery, Jake, Zach, Mariska, Kaitlyn, Kameron, Kaden, and 1 great-grandchild Ryleigh.

Scott is preceded in death by his son, Michael Wright; and parents, Jake and Mollie Wright. sister, Vida Roberts;  and nephew, Scotty Roberts.

Memorial Services will be held from 6p-7:30p, Thursday, September  26, 2024, at Heritage Nazarene Church in Sherman, Texas.
