Roy Henry White, age 83, of Bonham, TX, peacefully passed away at his residence on Monday, August 21, 2023.  Roy was born on November 3, 1930 in Ravenna, TX to Roy White & Velma (Hill) White.  He was a graduate of High School of Booker T. Washington school in Bonham and was formerly employed in construction.  He married Bettie Bateman on June 4, 1982 in Bonham, TX.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Bettie White of Bonham, TX, his children;  Bryant Wilson & Tanya of Mesquite, TX, Tracy Deleon of Dallas, TX, Sandra Benson & Kenneth of Bonham, TX, Rhonda McDow of Wichita, Falls, TX, Cassandra Dunlap of Coppell, TX, two sisters; Jean Matthews of Sherman, TX, Anna Verris Boyd of Ft. Worth, TX, two brothers; Raymond White & Billie of Denison, TX, Douglas White & Gwen of Dallas, TX, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Roy and Velma White and his sister; Gladys Cannon.

A memorial service is set for Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the First United Bank, Bonham, TX, in the Elizabeth May Room at 12 P.M.
