Ronald Lee
Rosenthal
Feb 11, 1952 — Feb 12, 2025
Whitesboro
Ronald Lee "Ronnie" Rosenthal, 73, passed away on February 12, 2025, in Whitesboro, Texas. He was born on February 11, 1952, in Rock Island, Illinois.
Ronnie proudly served in the United States Army from 1969 to 1975, stationed out of St. Louis, Missouri. During his service, he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Campaign Medal, and the Vietnam Service Medal with a Bronze Service Star in recognition of his dedication and bravery.
A man of many talents, Ronnie had a gift for working with his hands and was always willing to lend his skills to help others. Whether fixing something for a friend or crafting something special for his family, he took great pride in his abilities. He had a deep love for fishing and found peace in the quiet moments spent by the water. His generosity extended beyond his immediate circle—he regularly donated to children's cancer foundations and had a special place in his heart for children, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Ronnie is survived by his daughter Sarah Browning and her husband Timothy Browning; granddaughters Oshean and Jesseka Odum; brother George Crawford; and sisters Sandy Walker, Pam Lundell and Patricia Ruhl. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sandi Rosenthal; mother, Shirley Crawford; father, Clifford Rosenthal; and brother, Clifford Rosenthal.
A memorial service honoring both Ronnie and Sandi will be held on March 8, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at American Funeral Service of Denison, located at 4312 W Crawford Street, Denison, Texas.
