Ronald Dean Monk Sr., age 60, of Whitesboro, TX, passed away peacefully with his family near, on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at his residence. Ronald was born on March 31, 1963 in Dallas, TX to Richard Cozet and Nancy (Petty) Cozet.  He was formerly employed in construction doing dry wall installation.  He was married to Celeste Posey.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Celeste Posey of Whitesboro, TX, his three children; Ronald Dean monk Jr. of Gainesville, TX, Randal Duane Monk of Whitesboro, TX,  Richard Neil Monk of Whitesboro, TX, three sisters; Cathy Cozet of Lewisville TX, Edna Burgess of Lewisville, TX, Karla Monk of Lewisville, TX, nine grandchildren; Kaden, Madison, Peyton, Hailey, Bailey, Riley, Bohdi, Whitley, Maverick, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Richard & Nancy Cozet.

The family is planning a service with the date to be announced.
