Robert Wayne Cooper was born April 17, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas to Roberta (Bobbie) and Cecil Cooper.  He left the physical plane of existence December 3, 2023 in Denison, Texas.

As a child, Wayne was inquisitive, which led to a love of reading and a lifetime of learning about all aspects of life and history.  He was a great conversationalist who had his opinions while respecting those of others.

Wayne treasured time spent with Mama Toots and Granddaddy especially trips to the Fort Worth Zoo and vacations in Ruidoso, New Mexico.  His artistic gift was noticeable to everyone though Wayne never pursued it.

He graduated from Nimitz High School in Irving, Texas in 1977.  During that time he worked part time developing a strong work ethic while maintaining excellent grades.

The birth of his daughter, Lacey Wynne and grandsons Koby, Darby, Jr. and Wesley were highlights of Wayne's life.

Wayne moved to Denison in 1988 and began a lifelong friendship with Tom Ingram as he assisted in the formation of Flex-ing.

Wayne made a point to be the first one to text loved ones every holiday and birthday always using a term of endearment.  He was faithful in the support of his mother during her illness enjoying conversations about their mutual love of birds, flowers, gardening and life.

Kind, caring, generous and compassionate, Wayne loved his long hair.  He gave freely of his wisdom, loyalty, support and love.

Wayne was preceded in death by his daughter Lacey Wynne Cooper Ballou, parents:  Bobbie and Cecil Cooper, sister: Carol Elaine Baker, Grandparents: Giles and Mabel "Toots" Hightower, Hazel and Archie Cooper.

Left to treasure Wayne's memory are his grandsons:  Koby Cooper, Darby Ballou, Jr., Wesley Ballou.  Sisters: Cheryl Massie and Amy Beth Rives (Robert).  Nieces:  Sophia Perez (Cesar), Miranda Massie (Carlos), Shelby Rives (Kera)  Britni Graham (Todd), Harper Elaine Massie.  Nephews:  Aaron Massie (Jackie), Ryan Rives, Brann Graham, Lochlan Graham.  Aunt: Carol Record (Mike.)
