Robert Grant Christansen, age 78, of Gordonville, TX, passed away peacefully at Texoma Healthcare Center in Sherman, TX on Saturday, July 1, 2023.  Robert was born on January 25, 1945 in Galveston, TX to the late Edwin Victor Christiansen and Esta Lee Sargent Christiansen.  He married Carol Reid and formerly worked as a welder in construction.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Carolyn of the family home, his two children; Robert Lee Christiansen & Tommy of Alvin, TX, and Michael Thomas Christiansen & Raquel of League, City, TX,  four granddaughters; Michaela Christiansen, Jesika Fonseck, Christina Goudean and Alexandria Battison, three step-children; Travis Jordan and wife Carla of Kingston, OK, Randy Jordan and wife Paula, Texas City, TX and Tammy Jordan Erwin and husband Jon of Kingston, OK, 14 step-grandchildren and 30 step-great-grandchildren, brother; Charles Christiansen and sister; Linda Mettillo.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Edwin Christiansen Jr. and James Lee Christiansen, sisters; Stella Atchley and Martha Sringer.

The family is planning a memorial service Saturday, July 15, 2023, 10:00 A.M. at Dixie Baptist Church, Whitesboro, TX with Terry Barnett officiating.
