Robert Lee Cartwright, age 76, of Ector, TX passed away with his family near, on Tuesday, January 24, 2022 at this residence.  Robert was born on October 29, 1946 in Dallas, TX to William Lee Cartwright and Bessie (Elam) Cartwright.  He was a High School graduate with some college.  He married Jana "Galbreath".

Robert had several hobbies.  He enjoyed making cross necklaces and gifting family and friends with them.  He also was an outdoor man, spending time hunting and fishing.  His greatest joy was his family who will miss him greatly.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Jana Cartwright of Ector, TX, his children; Will Cartwright & Kristen of Irving, TX, Joshua Cartwright & Diana of Leonard, TX, and Angela Hall & Joshua of Bells, TX, eight grandchildren; Katelyn Cartwright, Kilee Cartwright, Kennedy Cartwright, Kinlee Cartwright, Weston Hall, Rylee Hall, Kolbie Cartwright and Colton Cartwright, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William & Bessie Cartwright and a step-son; Derek Murrow.

The family will announce a date for a service.
