Ricky Lynn Hammer, age 66, of Whitesboro, Texas, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.  Ricky was born on December 17, 1958 in Carrollton, Texas to R.B. Hammer and Betty Hammer.  He was a high school graduate and was employed as a painter in construction.

Rick enjoyed mudding in his truck, riding horses, fishing, painting and spending time with his family & dogs. He is survived by his son: Jamie Hammer, daughters; Kandy hammer, Michelle Pence, Talisha Morton, grand children, great grand children, brothers; Terry Hammer, Dean Hammer, Eric Hammer & sister Tammy Ray and lots of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death, by both parents, sister; Judy Jackson, and a great granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2025, 2:00 P.M. at Sadler Cemetery, Sadler, Texas with Richard Gage officiating.  Interment will follow.
