Richard James Samuel Robinson Sr., age 74. Of Gainesville, TX, peacefully passed away at his residence on Friday, June 7, 2024.  Richard was born on September 19, 1950 to Ardie and Earlene Robinson in Olney, TX.  He was a high school graduate of Gainesville Independent School District.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

At an early age, Richard united with Assemblies of God Church and found Christ again at the First Assembly of God Church in Gainesville, TX. After a year of suffering with many health issues, Richard left this world surrounded by his daughter, granddaughter, wife, and stepdaughter.

Richard was preceded in death by both parents, Ardie and Earlene Robinson.

Richard leaves to cherish his memory: Wife: Brenda Robinson of Gainesville; Three daughters, Sherri Baldwin (Chris) of Gainesville, TX, Shelen Rains of Marietta,OK, and Bridgett Robinson of Denton, TX. Grandchildren, Randi Silmon (Nicholas) of Muenster, TX, Jessica Hall of Denton, TX, Jered Hall (Skyler) out of state, Jordan Hall (Shea) of Gainesville, TX, Brendan Anderson of Denton, TX, and Breeyana Robinson of Denton, TX. One sister: Nancy West (Delbert) of Gainesville, TX. Two Nieces: Kristie Sims (Steven) Lindsay, TX. Lesley Henry (Michael) of Celina, TX. A host of great grandchildren and a host of other nieces and nephews, cousins, and second cousins.

A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, 10:00 A.M.  at Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, TX

Pallbearers will be Brendan Anderson-Robinson, Jordan Hall, Conner Silmon, Caden Silmon, Michael Henry, Weston Henry.  Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Gilbreath, Randall Hall, Chris Baldwin, Gary King, Ricky King, Steven Sims, Delbert West, Donnie Wilborn.

Interment and Immediate family may join Brenda Robinson at her home.
