Richard "Tuffy" Lee Reynolds, age 64, of Colbert, OK, passed away at his residence on Thursday, September 14, 2023.  Richard was born to L.D. Reynolds and Nelda (Grant) Reynolds on November 12, 1958 in Merced, California.  Tuffy graduated from Colbert High School in 1977 and formerly was employed as an automotive mechanic.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In Tuffy's early career he traveled all over the United States working on Seismograph crews. Later in life Tuffy worked in an automotive upholstery shop and even later Tuffy worked as carpet and flooring installation specialist. In his final years Tuffy made a career of one of his favorite hobbies, buying and repairing ATV's. Tuffy was a skilled craftsman when it came to ATV repair. From an early age Tuffy loved music and playing his drum set and guitars. Tuffy enjoyed attending live concerts for his favorite bands. As a child, Tuffy was a skilled baseball player and junior bowler. Tuffy was a very generous person, He would always go above and beyond to help anyone in need. Tuffy enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, sharing his musical knowledge of drums and guitar, andl letting the kids ride on his many ATVs. Tuffy was especially proud of his grandson Jaxson, He loved to spend time with Jaxson, showing him how to play guitar and drums, teaching him how to ride his ATV telling him stories, and watching him play computer games.

Left to cherish his memory is his son; Ryan Reynolds & Amber of Durant, OK, his sisters; D'Ann Bowles & Paul of Colbert, OK, Kay Reynolds of Jarrell TX, his brother; David Reynolds of Tecumseh, OK, grandson; Jaxson Reynolds, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; L.D. & Nelda Reynolds.

A memorial service will be held at the Garden of Memory Cemetery Pavilion, Colbert, OK, Saturday, September 23, 2023, 11:00 A.M. with  Richard Gage officiating.  Family and friends visitation will be Friday, September 22, 2023, 6 – 8 p.m. at American Funeral Service, Colbert, OK.
