Rebeka Colleen Shipley, age 69, of Sherman, TX, passed away peacefully, with her family near, at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX.   Rebeka was born on June 29, 1954 in Dallas, TX to Lloyd Byron Samford & Betty Robertson Samford.  She was a High School graduate and formerly worked in sales for U. S. Food Distributors.   She was married to Don G. Shipley.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband; Don G. Shipley of Sherman, TX, her son; Colin V. Shipley of Denison, TX, her siblings; Carolyn St Clare of California, Brenda Sue Palmer & Charles of Granbury, TX, Valarie Thomas & Ben of Roswell, NM, Kathy King &Cooper of Alvarado, TX, Alan Bojorquez & Sheila of Austin, TX, Yvette Flores of Corpus Christi, TX, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Lloyd and Betty Samford and two sons; Jeffrey S. Shipley and Don S. Shipley.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, October 16, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Restland Cemetery, Dallas, TX.  Officiating will be Frank Alegria. Interment will follow at Restland.  Family and friends visitation will be Sunday, October 15, 2023, 2:00 – 3:30 P.M. at American Funeral Service, Denison, TX.
