On April 1, 2026, Rebecca (Hines) Welch of Sherwood, AR was called home by the Lord to sing in His heavenly choir. A woman of deep faith and a heart devoted to worship, Rebecca spent her life serving the Lord through music, sharing her gift of piano and her beautiful voice with many churches and countless lives along the way.

Rebecca was born on July 4, 1953, in Moline, IL. From an early age, she carried a spirit of love, kindness, and devotion that would define her life. Her faith was the cornerstone of who she was, and she lived it daily through her service, her music, and the love she gave so freely to others.

She was a devoted and loving mother, sister, Nana, aunt, and daughter. Her greatest joy came from her family, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her warmth, strength, and unwavering love created a legacy that will live on in each of them.

Rebecca will be missed dearly by her children: Michelle and husband Sean, Casey and husband Johny and Adam and wife Amanda. She also leaves behind her beloved sisters, Debbie Harrison and Elizabeth Greenup, her stepbrothers, J.R. and wife Jeannine and Charlie and wife Kathy; her five cherished grandchildren, Whitney, Shantel, Cameron, Bentley, and Brody; and her three precious great-grandchildren, Rose, Jace, and David.

She is also lovingly remembered by her nieces, Megan and Ann, and her nephews, Jacob and Paul, along with countless extended family members and dear friends whose lives she touched.

Rebecca was preceded in death by her beloved Mama Lucille; her stepfather, Bill; her father; and Guy and Greg Burdeos.
Rebecca's life was a song of faith, love, and devotion—one that will continue to echo in the hearts of all who knew her. While she will be deeply missed, there is comfort in knowing she is now at peace, rejoicing and singing in the presence of her Lord. Her life and memory will forever be a blessing.
