Rayanna Jean Shipman, 82, joined the Lord on October 16, 2026. She was born June 29, 1944, to Fay and Imojean Thomas and married Donald Shipman on April 14, 1991.

A beloved wife, extraordinary mother, devoted Gran, great-grandmother, and cherished friend, Rayanna had a quiet presence that spoke volumes. She showed her love by being there—attending band performances, academic events, ballgames, and family milestones. If it mattered to someone she loved, it mattered to her.

Her family could always count on her generosity, encouragement, and prayers. Whatever she had to give, she gave with love, making sure her children and grandchildren knew they had someone to turn to.

Rayanna made family gatherings special through treasured traditions: homemade vanilla ice cream on the Fourth of July; cornbread dressing, deviled eggs, and pea salad at Thanksgiving; and potato soup, sliders, and special boxes to open on Christmas Eve. These simple joys created lasting memories and reflected what she treasured most—having her family together.

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Don Shipman; her two sons with the late Jerry Harrell, Clint Harrell and Jason Harrell and his wife, Deborah; grandsons, Nathan Harrell, Ryan Harrell and his wife, Maxeen, and Ayden Harrell; and great-grandchildren, Charlie and Colton Harrell. Her sons also share the love and support of their stepmother, Annie Harrell.

Her family will deeply miss her quiet presence, faithful prayers, and unwavering love. They will honor her memory by carrying forward her traditions and showing others the same kindness and generosity she shared so freely.

Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Rayanna on Friday, November 6, 2026, at 5 p.m. at the Senior Citizen Center in Colbert, Oklahoma, 506 N. Davidson, Colbert, OK 74733
