Quinten Wade Bowen, age 51, of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, with his loving wife of 27 years by his side.​Born in Wellington, Texas, on January 2, 1975, Quinten was the cherished son of Leta Whitten. Over his 51 years, he built a life defined by unwavering dedication to his family and deep, lasting connections with those closest to him.

Quinten is survived by his devoted wife, Mary Bowen; his daughter, Jordan Bowen; his son, Justin Bowen; and his mother, Leta Atteberry of Denison, TX. He is also survived by his brother, Shane Able and wife Cindy of Pottsboro, TX; his sister, Stephanie Layne of Denison, TX; his sister, Mary Strickland and husband Matt of Denison, TX; his aunt, Karen Rodwell; and his uncle, Johnny Whitten. Quinten will be fondly remembered by his nephews, Shane Able Jr. and Mason Hancock; his nieces, Taylor Orozco and Laci Kae Stewart; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his beloved nephew, Layne Garrett Strong; his uncles, Kenneth "Shaky," Wayne, Larry, and Bobby; and his fathers, Dave Atteberry and Ronnie Layne.
