Peggy Nell Corder, age 86, of Sherman, TX passed away peacefully at Focused Care of Sherman, TX on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.  Peggy was born on April 19, 1936 in Littlefield, TX to Leonard McCormick & Tennie (Mullins) McCormick.  She was a High School graduate and also had a Business Degree.  She was employed many years as a Bookkeeper.  She married Doyle Lee Corder SR who preceded her in death.  After her marriage she had the most wonderful and important job, that of raising her family which she dearly loved.  She was a Christian and a member of the Church of Christ. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family.

Left to cherish her memory is her five children; David Corder & Pam of Sherman, TX. Twila Richardson & Bobby, Dean Corder & Pam of Springdale, ARK, Elven Corder & Donna of McKinney, TX, Doyle Corder JR & Christy of Amarillo, TX, her sister; Linda Orick of Valley View, TX, her brother; Van McCormick of Abilene, TX, twelve grandchildren; Matthew, Danna, Bobbi Nell, Raymond, Jennifer, Jessica, Rachel, Susanna, Samuel, Everett, Avery, Truett, eight great-grandchildren; Hudson, Case, Jackson, Elijah, Leah, Ryan, Jamie, Ashley, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Leonard & Tennie McCormick, her husband, Doyle Lee Corder SR and her brother; Marcus McCormick.

Interment was in Kendal Chapel Cemetery, Southmayd, TX.
