Neil Kenneth
Lindahl
Jul 12, 1944 — Jul 15, 2025
Sherman
Neil K. Lindahl, born in Quincy, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, in Sherman, Texas, at the age of 81.
Neil proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, a time in his life that not only shaped his values but also led to one of his greatest joys—meeting the love of his life, Gail. Their connection blossomed through handwritten letters during his time in the service, eventually leading to their engagement. Together, they built a warm and loving home in Chicago, the city where they both grew up, and were blessed with two children who brought him tremendous joy.
A man of steady passions, Neil spent countless hours restoring vintage cars, immersed himself in military history through documentaries, and devoted much of his life to serving his Church. He was a respected Elder and Sunday School teacher, and his unwavering love for the Lord guided his every step.
Neil leaves behind his beloved wife Gail, their children, and numerous grandchildren, all of whom carry forward his legacy of faith, kindness, and quiet strength.
His memory will be cherished and celebrated by all who had the privilege of knowing him
