.Minnie Jean Croft, age 94, of Denison, Texas, passed away peacefully at Meadowbrook Care Center in Van Alstyne on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Minnie was born on July 13, 1929 in Okemah, Oklahoma to Alton Haddox and Wanita (Gormly) Haddox.  She spent many years employed by the Grand Prairie ISD, working in food service.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, James Phillip Croft of Oklahoma, Doris and Steve Stafford of McKinney, Carl Croft of Fort Worth, TX, Grace and Terry Daugherty of Florida, Paula and Scott Schnell of Midland; sister Wanda Baldridge of Okmulgee, OK; brother Charles Haddox & Anna of Okmulgee, OK; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents Alton and Wanita Haddox; husband John Croft in 1984; brothers Ray, Harvey and Alfred Haddox; and sisters Rita Liles and Florence McRae

A family Celebration will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023, 2 - 4 P.M. at American Funeral Service chapel, Denison, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Meals on Wheels, Denison, TX.
