Michael Lee Clarkson, age 70, of Collinsville, peacefully passed away at his home, with his family near, on Sunday, October 6, 2024.  Michael was born on January 5, 1954 in Denton, TX to Oscar Lee Clarkson JR and Margie Copeland Clarkson. He married Elaine Dunn and formerly was employed in construction as a welder.   He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife; Elaine Clarkson of Collinsville, TX, his children; Michael Clarkson JR & Stephanie of Collinsville, TX, Jesse Clarkson of Sherman, TX, Rusty Clarkson & Beth of Sherman, TX, his sister; Lois Prichett & Gene of Duncan, OK, seven grandchildren; Ashlie, Samantha, Shane, Bryan, Honey Jo, Colleen, Dakota, seven great-grandchildren; Jaxson, Hunter, Easton, Jayce, Angie, Liam, Harlow, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Oscar & Margie Clarkson and two brothers; Dennis & Gary Clarkson.

Burial will be at Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, TX, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, 11:00 A.M.
