Mary Anna Walston, of Calera Oklahoma, passed away on March 27, 2026, at the age of 68.

She was born on January 6, 1958, to Audie and Philip Walston, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her stepson, John Willis Jr.

She leaves behind a family who loved her deeply, including her daughter, Sara Kuhn, and son-in-law, Thomas Kuhn; her grandchildren, Elizabeth McKinzie, Sara Kuhn, and Jonah Kuhn; her stepdaughter, Celina Willis and Eliana, Gabriella, Dominic and Able, Hanna and Josh, and her siblings, Ginger Williams, Philip Walston, and Darrell Walston.

For 20 years, Mary worked at Bryan County Animal Hospital, where she cared for animals and found great purpose in helping them. Anyone who knew her knew how much she loved animals and how much it meant to her to be able to care for them.

She will be remembered for her love, her dedication, and the impact she made on the people and animals who were lucky enough to know her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Dr. Freida Memorial Fund at Bryan County Animal Hospital. She would have wanted to see that kindness go toward helping animals in need.
