Mary Joyce Cannon, age 71, of Whitesboro, TX, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 14, 2023 at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX.  Mary was born on August 16, 1951 in Gainesville, TX to Billy Frank Kelly and Fay Phelps Kelly. She was a High School graduate with a associates degree.  She was married to Eddie Cannon.  Her most important occupation was being a housewife and raising her family.  She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is husband; Eddie Cannon of Whitesboro, TX, her children; Edie Ward of Sulphur, OK, and T. J. Cannon-Elbert & Monty of Corinth, TX, her sister; Judy Bell & John of Sherman, TX, two grandchildren; Vanessa Ward and Huxley Carpenter, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Billy & Fay Kelly, her brother; Billy Frank Kelly Jr. and her sister; Kay Cravens.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, 2:00 p.m. at Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, TX with Pastor Mike Flannigan officiating.  Interment will follow.
