Margaret Ruth Young went to be with her Lord & Savior on January 28, 2025, at the age of 99. She was born on January 21, 1926, to William and Lillie Johnson. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great-grandmother and known for her loving spirit and kindness towards all. Margaret was an avid member of the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro for 87 years. Margaret also owned and operated Young's House of Beauty for 25 years. Her hobbies included playing canasta and dominoes.

Left to cherish her memory is her son Gene Young and wife Carolyn of Whitesboro, TX, daughter Judy Coleman of Whitesboro, TX, daughter-in-law Gloria Young of Houston, TX, grandchildren Joe Young of Denison, TX, Shonda Ogle and husband Kevin of Bowie, TX, Nikita Quarles of Bowie, TX, Brandon Quarles and wife Kelly of New Braunfels, TX, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews whom she greatly adored.

She was preceded in death by her parents William and Lillie Johnson, her spouse of 61 years, Bille Joe Young in 2003, her sons Larry Young and Kenneth Wayne Young, and her grandson Bryan Young.

A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, 1:30 P.M. at the First Baptist Church in Whitesboro, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donation in Margaret's memory to the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro's Building Fund.
