Marcie Mary Rowe, age 62, of Whitewright, TX, passed away peacefully at her residence with her family by her side, on Thursday, October 12, 2023.  Marcie was born on September 22, 1961 in Phoenix, Arizona to Bud Stapleton and Roberta Stapleton. She was a High School graduate and was employed by Quik Check, Frisco, TX as a cashier.  She married John Rowe, who survives her. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; John Rowe of Whitewright, TX, her children; Joseph Stapleton of Stillwater, OK, Gary Rowe of Whitewright, TX, Julia Rowe of Bastrop, LA, her two sisters; Brenda Tolan & Seneca of San Antonio, TX and LeAnn Scott & Richard of Tom Bean, TX, four grandchildren; Zachary Gibbs, Emily Gibbs, Hailey Gibbs, Wesley Gibbs, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bud & Roberta Stapleton and two brothers; Dan & Buddy Stapleton.

The family is planning a celebration of life with the date to be announced later.
