Luster Charles Polite SR, age 83, of Sherman, TX, peacefully passed away at his residence on Sunday, May 12, 2024.  Luster was born on December 19, 1940 in Ashdown, Arkansas to William Daniel Polite and Lena Mae (Bazell) Polite.  He was a High School graduate and proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He married Margarette Smith.  Formerly he was employed in construction as a concrete contractor.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Margarette Polite of Sherman, TX, his three children; Calita Verhovshek & Joel of Sherman, TX, Luster Charles Polite JR of Colony, TX, Yuvitta Giles & Edmund of Nashville, TN, his sister; Jessie Mae Hampton, five grandchildren; Autumn Verhovshek, Summer Morris, Alyssa Verhovshek, Donovan Giles and Ryan Polite, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; William and Lena Polite and a sister; Janell Cosey.
