Lorena Kay Henson, age 65, of Denison, TX, passed away peacefully at her residence, with her family near her, on Monday, October 16, 2023. Lorena was born on December 22, 1957 in Texas to Bill Crane and Jackie (Bray) Crane. She was a High School graduate and also attended college and attained a degree in nursing. She married Jerry Henson on August 8, 1987 in Guymon, OK.   She was employed in health care as a registered nurse.  She was a kind and caring person, loving her family and her patients.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Jerry Henson of Denison, TX, her children; Randy Henson & WaDonna of Meade, KS, Jeremy Henson & Carmel of Barber Hill, TX, Tim Nelson & Shelly of Garden City, S, Nathan Nelson & Nikita of Durant, OK, Mike Nelson & Miguel of Plano, TX, her four sisters; Mary Willingham & Greg of Abilene, TX, Niki Voyles & Joe of Wichita Falls, TX, Peggy Christian of Abilene, TX, Lory Miller & David of Abilene, TX, her three brothers; Richard Crane of Abilene, TX, Robert Mandrell of Kingston, Ok, Jerry Mandrell & Rhonda of Kingston, OK, her grandchildren; Raven Reed, Holden Maestas, Chelsea Collins, Dakata Sitton, Justin Henson, Dedra McDaniel, Kendal Henson, Kody Henson, Karay Henson, Brooklyn Beckstrom, Cadence Lorimor, Jacob Lorimor, Jaeden Nelson, Nicholas Nelson, Jonathan Nelson, Spencer Robertson, Aurorah Hudson, Gary Nelson, Kayella Nelson, five great-grandchildren, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Bill & Jackie Crane, three brothers; Michael, David James Mandrell.

The family is planning a memorial service with the date to be announced.
