Lloyd Wayne Morris age 64, of Whitesboro, TX, peacefully passed away at his residence on Sunday, June 9, 2024.  Lloyd was born on May 10, 1960 in Dumas, TX to Delbert Morris and Linda Whitfield.  He was a graduate of Callisburg high school and was employed in the petroleum business for 35 years as an oil field welder.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory are his children; Devon Burris of Princeton, TX, David Wayne Morris of Tulsa, OK, Matthew Morris of Collinsville, TX,  Kyle Bryson Morris of Collinsville, TX, Candice Morris of Collinsville, TX, Michael Morris of Kentucky, three sisters; Melissa Mitchusson of Whitesboro, TX, Sarah Mitchusson of Whitesboro, TX Belinda Mitchusson of Whitesboro, TX, ten grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Irene Morris in 2023, wife; Karen Burris, brother; Nick A. Morris, sister; Sandra C. Walker and his parents; Delbert & Linda Whitfield.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, June, 17, 2024, 2:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service, Denison, TX with Richard Gage officiating.  Family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to the service, starting at 1:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Larry Brammer, Rocky Morris, Jason Longston, Steven Longston, Billy Longston, Jeremy Kooner and Derrick Weaver.
