Mrs. Linda Sue York, age 82 of Ector, Texas peacefully joined the Lord on May 22, 2026 in Sherman, Texas. Linda was born December 30, 1943 in Hebron, Texas to Daniel Edward and Lola Dean. She married Freddie York on July 1, 1966. Linda was of Baptist faith, she was a homemaker and she also had many other titles over the years, she has worked hard her entire life.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Linda never met a stranger and will always be remembered for her kindness and willingness to help others.

Linda is survived by her sister Mary Standerfer, her son's Rodney Terry, Freddie York, Jr. and wife Kim, Tim York and wife Cindy, Scotty York and wife Courtney Palmer, 6 beautiful grandchildren, along with many other extended family members.  She was proceeded in death by her parents Daniel Edward and Lola Dean, her sister Juanita Jean Roach, her husband Freddie York and her precious granddaughter Emily York.
