Leona Joyce Collinsworth, age 79, of Bonham, TX, peacefully passed away at Texoma Medical Center, Denison, TX on Monday, May 27, 2024. Leona was born on September 30, 1944 in Bonham, TX to Leon Perry and Edna (Gounch) Perry.  She was formerly employed as a home health aide.  She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and caregiver.  She will be greatly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her children; Dwayne Gage of Grandprairie, TX, Brian McCandless & April of Watauga, TX, Shannon Loya & Jerry Loya of Bonham, TX, her sister; Dixie Pack, her two brothers; Charles Morris of Navasota TX, Jerry Morris & Dana of Lubbock, TX, two grandchildren; Christopher & Carrie, three great-grandchildren; Ivory, Layla, chase, other extended family and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Leon and Edna Perry, her husband; Walter Donald McCandless, two brothers; Billy Perry and Curry Perry, two sisters; Merle Givens and Carmalita Byrd, her son; Donny Delbert McCandless.

The family is planning a service at a later date to be announced.
