Larry Wayne Chumley, age 73, of Gordonville, TX, passed away peacefully at his residence on Monday, May 29, 2023.  Larry was born on December 30, 1949 in Durant, OK to Clarence Chumley & Gertrude Chumley.  He was employed many years in maintenance for the City of Sherman, TX.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family

Left to cherish his memory is his children; Sophia Mendoza & Jose of Mt Pleasant, TX, Sue Criswell & Robby of Whitesboro, TX, his sister; Nancy Darnell & Robert of Whitesboro, TX, his six grandchildren; Sebastian Barron, Ricardo Barron, Maria Nava, Larry Chumley, Tammy Auldridge, Shara Chumlley, twelve great-grandchildren; other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Patti Chumley in 2012, his parents; Clarence & Gertrude Chumley, three brothers; Ronnie, Charles and David Chumley.

The family is planning a service with the date to be announced.
