Kristen L. Villalobos Sanchez, age 41, of Tom Bean, TX, peacefully passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Texoma health Care, Sherman, TX.  Kristen was born on January 7, 1983 in Fresno, CA to Chris Pratt and Lee Glenn-Combs.  She was a high school graduate with an associates degree.  She was employed in health care as a certified nurse aide. She was married to Jose Cruz.  She will be greatly missed by her loving family and many friends.

Kristen was always the one you called if you needed anything or a shoulder to lean on. She had a beautiful smile with a loud contagious laugh that could make anyone smile after hearing it. You always knew what she was thinking as it showed on her face and lets just be honest, she had NO filter. She had the motherly instinct and many friends of the kids called her their second mom.

She loved to go to garage sales on Saturday morning with her sister, shopping was always a favorite for her, and decorating for Christmas with Grandma Red's stuff. Her favorite thing to do was to follow her children around to all their sporting events, being the biggest and loudest cheerleader in the stands!

Kristen fought until the very end, even causing a ruckus wherever she was at. With all that has happened in these short 7 months, Chassidy was by her side every step of the way. She advocated for Kristen and always had her best interest at heart. Without Chassidy, Kristen would not have had these months to spend it with all that loved her.

Although her physical presence may no longer be with us, her free spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts she touched.

Left to cherish her memory is her spouse; Jose Cruz of Tom Bean, TX, her father; Chris Pratt & Jody of Denison, TX, her mother; Lee of tom Bean, TX, her two children;  Alexander Sanchez of Tom Bean, TX, and Lexi Cervantes of Tom Bean, TX, her sister; Breanna Pratt & Joseph of Denison, TX, her brother; Nicholas Glenn of Texas, stepsister; Krystyna Ruppel of Calera, OK, other extended relatives and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; James (Bud) & Charlotte Glenn and Cecil & Sue Pratt, Vernon & Leona Combs and her step-father; Tim Combs.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024, 7:00 P.M. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison, TX with Jesse Brown officiating.
