Justin Joseph Comrie, age 40, of Denison, Texas, passed away on May 21, 2025.

Born on September 1, 1984, in Royal Oak, Michigan, Justin dedicated his life to serving others—both as a physician assistant and as a proud Army combat veteran. He served with honor during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2006 to 2008.

Above all, Justin was a devoted father to his two beautiful daughters, Brooke (13) and Riley (6), of Little Elm, Texas, who were the light of his life. He found joy in the outdoors, especially through fishing, hunting, and his lifelong love of hockey.

Justin was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Sue Wendorf of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin; his paternal grandparents, Dan and June Comrie of Grand Haven, Michigan; and his maternal grandparents, Lyle and Charlotte Wendorf of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin.

He is survived by his daughters, Brooke and Riley; his father, Dan Comrie of Whitefish, Montana; and his brothers, Brian Comrie of Munising, Michigan, and Ian Comrie of Boerne, Texas.

Justin's strength, work ethic, and unwavering love for his family will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of service, sacrifice, and deep devotion.

A Celebration of Life is planned for July 12, 2025 at 2 pm at Pottsboro VFW  250 VFW Drive, Pottsboro, TX 75076.
