Judy Grace (Herring) Whatley, 64, of Randolph, Texas went home to be with the Lord Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Judy was born July 28, 1960 in Waco, Texas to Dillon and Jean Herring. She grew up in the Waco area and attended Midway schools. After high school she ventured out to enjoy a life on the road where she had many adventures in Oklahoma, Colorado and her journey to visit all 50 States.

During one of her many adventures, she met and married Ron Mealer and had her son, Roy Ray.

In September 1988 she married the love of her life Weldon Whatley and they blended their two families and welcomed many grandchildren and great grandchildren throughout their nearly 32 years together.

Left to cherish her memories are her children; Vickie Peterson of McGregor, TX, Cherrie Whatley of Waco, TX, and her special daughter in law Carol Mealer; her beloved friend and caregiver Shelia Huckabee; her grandchildren; Levi (Ashley) Mealer; Macie (Mark) Mealer; Alexis (Derrick) Relford; Christian (Kayla) Slagle; Brad (Sharlet) Bond; Jordan (Gabrielle) Chadwick; Kimberly (Nicole) Fisher; Jennifer (Colby) Downes; Matthew Westerfield; Dustin Westerfield; Jessica Tolliver; Travis Tolliver; Shiayne Fisher, Jaidyn Fisher; numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other family & friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Weldon Whatley, parents, Dillon and Jean Herring, a sister Bonnie Herring, her sons Roy Mealer and Jerry Whatley, her daughter in law, Vivian Whatley and daughter Loretta Tolliver.

Judy was a devoted wife, mother, Ma, step mother, Granny, and friend and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
