Joy Janette Sliger was called to heaven on  January 22,2024. She peacefully passed away at Four Seasons Nursing Center in Durant, Okla. Joy was born on February 18, 1939 in  Hendrix, Oklahoma on her grandparents farm, to Pete and   Vinita Sinor. She will be missed by her loving family and friends.

Joy is survived by her brother Buck Sinor of Kemp, Okla, brother Sam Sinor, sister in law Linda Sinor of Wichita Falls, Texas, sister in laws Janice Baker of Achille, Okla, Sharon May of Kemp, Okla, Christine Armstrong of Durant, Okla. Along with many nephews, nieces and great nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Edward Sliger and her daughter Sherry Jane Sliger.

Funeral Service will be Thursday, January 25, 2024, 1:00 p.m. at American Funeral Service Chapel, Colbert, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow at Rosewood Cemetery, Achille, Oklahoma.
