Funeral services for Johnny Edward Perez, age 69, of Southmayd will be held at Kendall Chapel Cemetery Graveside at 10am on Saturday 11, 2026.

Johnny was born May 19, 1957 to Betty Jo Metcalf and passed away July 4, 2026.

When Johnny semi-retired from truck driving and working for the city of Sherman, he piddled in his shop with small engines and spent a lot of time mowing yards in Southmayd.

Johnny also enjoyed being a volunteer fire fighter for the city of Southmayd during his younger years when he could give something back to the city he loved so much.

Johnny Edward Perez is preceded in death by his Mother Betty Jo Perez, Father Fernando Raymond Perez, Brother's Chris and Carl Perez.

Johnny is survived by his son Johnny E. Perez Jr. and wife Kristi Perez of Sherman, TX, Misty and Duane Adams of Maloy, Iowa, Joni and Marcus Johnson of Denison, TX, Stacy Sneed of Sherman, TX and Grand Kids: Richard and his wife Caylan Perez of Sherman, TX, Anna Perez of Sherman, TX, Anthony Lyons of Maloy, Iowa and David Adams of Maloy Iowa, Jamian Sneed of Sherman, TX, John Harris and Jaron Harris from Sherman, TX, Lindsay Goff and Emily Goff of Sherman Texas and Great Grand kids.

The family welcomes those that wish to celebrate the life of Johnny Edward Perez to graveside service at Kendall Chapel Cemetery in Southmayd, Texas at 10 am on Saturday July 11, 2026.
