John Kevin Shell, age 60, of Gainesville, TX, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 12, 2023 in Gainesville, TX.  John was born on February 12, 1963 in Odessa, TX to Bill Shell and Judy (Clark) Shell.  He was a High School graduate and was employed as a plant supervisor and a driver for a wrecker service.  He was a wonderful  husband, father, brother, uncle and friend.  He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Donna Shell of Whitesboro, TX, his son; Kevin Shell of Gainesville, TX, two brothers; Charlie Shell & Cindy of Gainesville, TX, Ricky Shell of Gainesville, TX, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Bill & Judy Shell, two brothers; Randy & Timmy Shell and his sister; Tammy Shell.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2023, 11:00 A.M. at Valley View Cemetery, Valley View, TX with the family conducting the service. Interment will follow.
