Garvie "Joe" Richhard Setzer JR, passed away peacefully at his reisidence on Thursday, December 28, 2023.   Joe was born on February 03, 1960 in Myrtle Beach, SC to Garvie Richard Setzer and Charlotte Pumpfry Setzer.  He married Jill Barnett and was formerly employed in construction as a landscaper.  He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife; Jill Setzer of Denison, TX, his three children; Jeremy Brooks of Pottsboro, TX, Dustin Setzer & Kristain of Okmlgee, OK, Cheyenne Carter & Dakota of Denison, TX, his two sisters; Debbie Paull & John of Sadler, TX, and Janet Setzer Waggoner of Bonham, TX, four grandchildren; Bobby Joe Setzer, Raeliana Setzer, Amylia Setzer, Cade Hayden, other extended family and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents

The family is planning a private service later.
