JoAnn Lynn Stephens, age 57, of Denison, TX, passed away peacefully, with her family near, at her residence on Monday, July 3, 2023.  JoAnn was born on October 25, 1965 in San Diego, CA to Larry Sargent SR, and Shirley (Wilks) Sargent.  She was a High School graduate and also had an associate degree.  She married Jay Stephens on July 4, 2020 in Denison, TX.  She formerly worked as a RN for home health in health care.  She loved her family and taking care of her patients.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband; Jay Stephens of Denison, TX, her mother; Shirley Sargent of Sherman, TX, her four children; Miranda Guptill of Sherman, TX, Morgan Brady & Beau of Sanger, TX, Tyler Banks of Denison, TX, Sidney Stephens of Bells, TX, the two brothers; Michael Wilks & Joell of Las Vegas, NV and Roger Sargent of Sherman, TX, seven grandchildren; Carson Logan, Sutton Logan, Bailey Brady Acher Banks, Austin Brady, Baylor Banks, Lilly Stephens, other extended family and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; Larry Sargent Sr. in 2021, her brother; Larry Sargent Jr.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, July 9, 2023, 3:00 P.M. at Refuge Church, 2223 W. Morton St., Denison, TX with Pastor Mark Frimann officiating.  family and friends visitation will be one hour prior to service, 2:00 P.M.
