Jeremy Lee Mitchell, 50, of Denison went home to be with the Lord on February 21, 2024. He was born on December 8, 1973 in Denison to Steve and Patricia (Pointer) Mitchell. Jeremy was a 1992 graduate of Denison High School. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from Southern New Hampshire University and a Master's Degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. Jeremy worked in the optical field for 18 years, ending his career as a Systems Integrator for Luxottica.

Family was very important to Jeremy. He was a proud and devoted father to his two daughters and enjoyed attending their school events and supporting them in every way. They meant the world to him. Jeremy enjoyed the challenge of fixing things and loved working on cars with his father. He loved getting together with family, his brothers and cousins, to laugh and tell stories about the old days.

He is survived by his daughters Alison and Ava Mitchell of Whitesboro; parents, Steve and Patricia Mitchell of Denison; brother, Cody Mitchell of Denison; brother, Samuel Mitchell and wife Andrea of Denison; nieces Autumn Mitchell and Paisley Mitchell; nephew Axel Mitchell, as well as numerous beloved cousins, uncles, aunts, and other loving family and friends.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.C. "Bill" Pointer, Jackie Pointer, James Mitchell and Roberta Mitchell.

Funeral services honoring Jeremy will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, February 24, 2024 at American Funeral Service in Denison, officiated by his uncle Dr. James Mitchell. A time of visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the funeral at 10:00 AM at American Funeral Service in Denison.

Interment will be at Everheart Cemetery in Bells, Texas
