Jennifer K. Jones

Jennifer K. Jones, 54, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer. She faced her illness with incredible strength, grace, and the same fierce love that she showed to everyone around her.

Jennifer was born on June 17, 1971, to the late Thomas Wilson Jones and Dottie Kay Jones, who now welcome her home with open arms. She was surrounded in life by the love of her family and friends, all of whom will cherish her memory forever.

She is survived by her beloved children Christopher Michael Darland and Dottie Darland, and by her two adopted children, Jessica Werth and Kelley Finklea. Jennifer also leaves behind her siblings Christie Jones, Felice Michelle Bradley Butler, and Thomas Jones Jr., as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles who adored her.

Jennifer's life was filled with love and laughter, and though she had countless friends and family who cared deeply for her, there was one friend who held a special place in her heart — Angie. Their friendship spanned decades, built on loyalty, laughter, and unconditional love. They were truly sisters in every way that mattered.

Jennifer will be remembered as a devoted mother, sister, daughter, and friend. Her compassion, strength, and kindness touched every life she encountered. Though she is gone too soon, her spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

She was a wife, a friend, and a mother — and she will be greatly missed by many.
