Janet Sue Beal, 68, passed away on November 7, 2024, in Garland, Texas. Born on July 11, 1956, Janet devoted her life to her family and retired from the Richardson Independent School District in 2020 after many years of dedicated service.
Janet was a loving presence, cherished for her commitment to her family.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Curtis; her husband, Stephen Beal; her son, Chris Beal; her daughters, Stephanie Carlson and Andrea Tankersley; her son-in-law, Brennan Tankersley; and her grandchildren, Logan and Toby Carlson, and Emma, Marley, and Piper Tankersley.

She was preceded in death by her father, W.L. Curtis, and her brother, Kenneth Curtis.

Services to honor Janet's life will be held on Saturday, November 16th, at the American Funeral Home in Denison, TX, with a visitation for family and friends at 1:00 PM followed by a service at 2:00 PM.
